How your data is handled.
This page explains what Vertex Academy collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it, under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
1. Who we are
Vertex Academy provides mathematics tuition in Singapore. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Vertex Academy.

2. What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, the level or paper you are asking about, and anything you write in the message field.
We do not collect payment card details. Lesson fees are paid by PayNow after a lesson slot has been confirmed.
3. Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to discuss whether tuition is suitable, and to arrange and administer lessons if you go ahead.
We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.
4. Consent
The enquiry form asks you to confirm that you consent to us collecting and using your details for the purpose above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to the contact address on this page; we will stop using your details and delete them unless we are required to keep them.
Where the enquiry concerns a student under 18, the person submitting the form confirms that they are the student's parent or legal guardian, or that they have that person's authority.
5. Who we share it with
We do not share your details with third parties for their own purposes. Limited technical service providers — for example, the company that hosts this website — may process data on our behalf under their own terms.
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads. No enquiry details are sent to Google.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to lessons are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to lessons are kept for as long as the tuition relationship continues, and afterwards only for as long as accounting or legal requirements demand.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct anything that is inaccurate, or to delete it. Write to the contact address on this page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If analytics is added in future, this section will be updated before it is switched on.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page. It was last updated on to be confirmed.
